270g pure ground almonds
50g honey (and some extra to top)
7 medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsps rose water
1 tsp all spice, ground
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
1 tsp cacao
3/4 tsp cloves, ground
1 fresh orange juice peel, finely chopped
1 fresh lemon peel, grated
Put the Medjool dates in a bowl and cover them with hot water.
In the meantime, combine the dry ingredients in a food processor and the wet ingredients in a bowl.
Add the wet mixture to the rest of the ingredients in the food processor, including the Medjool dates.
Roll the mixture and shape it into a rectangle.
Top with extra honey and crushed almond flakes.
Store in the fridge and enjoy!
