Since 1973, the Depiro Basketball Club has been giving local youths the opportunity to train, participate and enjoy the popular game of basketball, a sport practised in over 200 countries, and played by 400 million people worldwide.
From its private premises in Mtarfa (limits of Rabat), the club prides itself in developing some of the most talented players on the island, many of which have represented Malta internationally. From mini basketball to senior competition, there is a place for all levels and ages to enjoy the sport of basketball at Depiro. The last few years the club has also been actively involved in promoting other sports & cultural activities for children.
At Depiro Basketball, Depiro SibtSport, Depiro Gymnastics and Depiro Summer School, the clubs offers various sports activities, dance, excursions, drama, STEM (science, technology, engineering & maths), robotics, First Aid and expressive arts/crafts. There is something for everyone at the Depiro Basketball Club.
